elaboration of a gender specific (hormone-related) study of vaccination effects

Aim of this workshop event is to concise the design of an observational study to investigate heterogeneous vaccination effects by cyclical hormonal changes in human subjects.

Context

Through the course of the pandemic, gender differences in immunological responses have become visible. Previous literature has suggested that certain immune cells present hormonal cycle-phase dependent changes in menstruating individuals, indicating that further research is crucial.

Objectifs visés

We search for cooperation partners and advisors in order to acquire funding and implement this innovative observational study.
